The TMP sets out a schedule of tree protection methods to be implemented prior to, during and after construction works and accords with industry standard AS4970 2009 Protection of Trees on Development Sites.

The TMP provides information regarding the involvement of the project arborist, the role of the site manager and conformance expectations of all construction workers.

The TMP will also provide key construction hold points and a conformance section where the project arborist is to sign off on tree protection installation, induction, supervision and monitoring.

A Tree Protection Plan indicating tree removals, retained trees, the extent of Tree Protection Zones, Structural Root Zones, tree protection fencing and ground protection measures (where required), will be provided within the body of the TMP as will all relevant tree data.
